The United Postal Stationery Society encourages research, and the exhibition of postal stationery

The UPSS provides special awards at national level exhibitions in the USA (American Philatelic Society’s World Series of Philately “WSP” shows) and in Canada. These are for the best postal stationery exhibits at those shows, one for multi-frame and one for single frame entries. The former are named after Marcus White, who was a stalwart of postal stationery collecting, and a prominent member of our society. Thus it is very fitting that our show award be named after him.

In addition, the UPSS holds an annual Champion of Champions (UPSS C of C) competition consisting of the UPSS winners at the national shows, both the multi-frame Marcus White awards, and the Single Frame awards.
